Our app is available for use whenever you're ready to embark on your next adventure and will select interesting Points of Interest within your prefered range. However, it's advisable to be in an interesting area when you start!

Currently Locatello is made with small, walkable cities in mind. If you plan on using a mode of transport other than walking, select distance (not duration) and everything will work. We will integrate public transport and modes such as cycling as soon as possible.

Yes! This is a premium feature, after creating or buying your tour there is no more internet required.

Yes, we offer a free tour every 48hrs. However, a free tour has limitations as to duration, guides, and more. Buying a premium tour comes with a lot of perks, such as sharing your tour, offline access, premium voices, more guides and a lot more...

For now our app relies on mostly open source and public data. We strive to select quality information and will be adding quality data sources. Over time we will be looking to work directly with tourist guides. If you encounter wrong information, please flag it in the app so we can improve.

We are working hard to bring Locatello to Apple phones. A web version is not possible as we need continuous access to GPS data during the tour to guide you. Our #1 priority now is giving you the option to select or create a tour in advance, behind your computer, from home.

Your GPS location is only used to determine your location so we can map your tour, and to help the guide guide you at the right moments.

Your actual GPS location is never stored or even handled on our systems and only leaves your device to calculate directions using Mapbox API.
